Pier Jacopo Alari Bonacolsi

Pier Jacopo Alari - Bonacolsi (* 1460 in Mantua, † 1528 in Gazzuolo ), called Antico, was an Italian sculptor, is known about its life a little. The nickname Antico he received because he created his work in a classicizing style. Apart from trips to Rome he lived in the room Mantua, where he worked for the ducal family Gonzaga. He created a large number of bronzes, including refinement of the traditional casting technique.
