Pier Luigi Carafa

Pier Luigi Carafa (* July 18, 1581, † February 15, 1655 ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

On March 29, 1624 appointed Bishop of Tricarico, he received shortly after ordination to the priesthood and was ordained bishop on 2 June 1625. Pope Innocent X raised him on March 6, 1645 and made him a cardinal on July 10th of the year for the Cardinal Priest of Ss. Silvestro e Martino ai Monti. Since 1645 he was Prefect for the Congregation Council.
