Piera Martell

Piera Martell ( born July 2, 1943 in Jonah, Canton of St. Gallen ) is a Swiss former pop singer.

Despite the last place in the Euro Vision Song Contest 1974 with the song My call to you could reach in consequence a certain prominence in Switzerland, including through appearances on television. It was followed by some international performances. In 1976 she participated in the German preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest with the song was a new day but only Penultimate.

From 1981 saw her retreat from show business, performances took place only on a smaller scale.
