Piergiuseppe Vacchelli

Piergiuseppe Vacchelli ( born February 4, 1937 in Longardore di Sospiro, Cremona, Italy) is an emeritus Archbishop Curia of the Roman Catholic Church.

Life

Vacchelli attended from 1948 to 1961 the Major Seminary of the Diocese of Cremona and was on 27 May in 1961 by the bishop of Cremona, Danio Bolognini, ordained a priest.

He was pastor of the parish of " San Giovanni in Croce " From late 1961 until 1963. In 1963 he went to study canon law in Rome, where he attended the Pontifical Gregorian University.
