Piero Gros
Piero Gros ( born October 30, 1954 in Sauze d' Oulx ) is an Italian former Alpine skier.
He won in his career 12 World Cup races ( 7 wins in Giant Slalom, 5 wins in slalom ) and was in 1973/74 World Cup winner. At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976, he won gold in the slalom. At the World Championships 1974 in St. Moritz, he finished third in the giant slalom. Four years later he reached at the World Championships in Garmisch -Partenkirchen in the slalom for second place. From 1974 to 1982, he won a total of ten Italian championship.
