Pierre Bouvier

Pierre Charles Bouvier ( born May 9, 1979 in L' Ile- Bizard, Quebec ) is a French Canadian musician, who is known as the lead singer of the pop punk band Simple Plan.

Career

Bouvier is the son of Réal and Louise Bouvier and has two older brothers, Jay and Jonathan. He attended the Collège Beaubois in Pierrefonds, Montreal West Iceland with his bandmates Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre. Before the music career Bouvier worked as a cook in the restaurant chain St- Hubert in Montreal.

At age 13, he founded the punk rock band Reset with his friend Chuck Comeau, in which he was the bassist and lead singer. He left reset in 1999, a year after Chuck Comeau. His current bandmate David Desrosiers took his place. Then he met Chuck Comeau again at a Sugar Ray concert and founded with Comeau and the old school friends Jeff Stinco and Sébastien Lefebvre, Simple Plan. David Desrosiers also left Reset and joined the new band.

He is co- owner of the trademark Role Model Clothing, along with Chuck Comeau and Patrick Langlois. He also hosted the MTV reality show Damage Control.
