Pierre Joffroy

Joffroy Pierre ( born 1929 in Lorraine ) is a French writer, playwright and journalist for Paris Match, Libération and L'Express. He currently lives in Paris.

Joffroy brought out many novels, plays and reportage volumes in France.

The writer Joffroy has 30 years working with the biography of Kurt Gerstein. He went to the footsteps of his life. From his research, a book was written ( The Spy God Kurt Gerstein - an SS officer in the resistance? ), Which on the one hand, describes the fate of Kurt Gerstein and on the other hand the decades- long search for tracks by the author.

In an interview with the Germany radio he made known his opinion that he Kurt Gerstein for " one of the most important people of World War II " holds today.
