Pierre Léonard Vander Linden

Pierre Léonard Vander Linden ( born December 12, 1797 † April 5, 1831 ) was a Belgian entomologist.

Vanderlinden was a professor of zoology, specializing in the study of Hymenoptera. His main work is Observations sur les hymenoptères d'Europe de la famille the fouisseurs, which he published in 1827 the first part of it under the title Scoliètes, sapygites, pompiliens et sphégides. The second part, he published in 1829 under the title Bembecides, labrates, nyssoniens et crabronites.
