Pierre Lhomme

Pierre Lhomme ( born April 5, 1930 in Boulogne- Billancourt ) is a French cinematographer.

Life

Pierre Lhomme trained as a cameraman during its actual length in Germany military service. As assistant of, inter alia, Claude Renoir and Henri Alekan he was involved in numerous productions until he was first employed as chief cameraman in 1960. Throughout his career, Lhomme was hired for different film projects and stood both for pure entertainment films and artistically demanding works behind the camera. After several nominations for the César for Best camera he received the Film Award in 1989 for Camille Claudel. His other works include camera Cyrano de Bergerac and Maurice.
