Pierre Lueders

The son of a German immigrant starts at bobsled race in both the two - and four-man bobs in, but was able to win his major successes in the two- exclusively. His greatest victory was winning the gold medal at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano in the two-man bob.

At the games in Turin in 2006, he was together with his brakeman Lascelles Brown won the silver medal in two-man, as it only André Lange suggested.

After the 2010 Winter Olympics (twice fifth) finished Lueders his career. Since 2012 he is coach of the Russian national team Bob. As such, he accompanied her to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where the Russians were able to win with their pilots Alexander Zubkov two gold medals.
