Pierre Tchernia
Pierre Tchernia ( born January 29, 1928 in Paris ) is a French screenwriter, film director, film producer, presenter, animator and actor.
Life
Tchernia in 1949 involved in the creation of the first television news in France, and was one of the first newscasters. He was a host or presenter for various discussion, quiz and music shows on French TV. He is friends with René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, and wrote the screenplays for four Asterix movies. On 14 July 2011 he was appointed commander of the Legion of Honour. Tchernia was caricatured by Goscinny and Uderzo friendly in several Asterix adventures.
