Pierrefeu-du-Var

Pierrefeu -du -Var is a commune in the French department of Var in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur. The place belongs to the arrondissement of Toulon and Hyeres to Canton. Pierrefeu has 5707 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) on an area of ​​58.36 km ².

Location

Pierrefeu lies in a plane on the western edge of the Massif des Maures, about 20 km north of Hyeres and the Mediterranean coast. The highest elevations in the area of the municipality are the castellas ( 445 m), the Peyrol (350 m) and Barry (149 m).
