Piet Eckert

Piet Eckert ( * 1968 in Mumbai ) is a Swiss architect.

Life

Eckert studied architecture at the ETH Zurich ( Diploma 1994) and at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture in New York City. 1995 to 1997 he worked in the office Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA ). Since 1997 he has worked as an architect in Zurich and in 2001 he founded the office E2A architects together with Wim Eckert. Piet Eckert taught at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and at the ETH Zurich. From 2009 to 2011, he was a visiting professor of architecture and sustainability at the HafenCity University in Hamburg.
