Piet Kee

Piet Kee ( born August 30, 1927 in Zaandam ) is a Dutch organist and composer.

Kee is the son of Cor Kee and studied piano, organ and composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He won three times the price of the international improvisation competition in Haarlem (1953, 1954, 1955). He taught from 1954 to 1988 at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. He was from 1952 to 1987 organist of the Church in Alkmaar and Lauren 1956-1989 city organist of the Müller organ at St. Bavo Church in Haarlem.
