Pietari Holopainen

Pietari Holopainen (born 26 September 1982) is a Finnish footballer who currently plays at Kuopio PS in the First Division. He plays the position of defender.

Holopainen began his career in the youth of Kuopio PS. His first league game for the first team he graduated in 2001 against FC Jazz Pori. For the 2006 season, he joined the second division Mikkelin Palloilijat, but he left after just one year. Holopainen moved to FC Haka in the First Division, where he quickly fought his way to a permanent place. Until his return to KuPS for the 2010 season, he came to a total of 63 games for Haka, in which he scored seven goals.
