Pieter Mertens

Pieter Mertens ( born August 25, 1980 in Lommel ) is a Belgian racing cyclist.

Pieter Mertens won a stage at the Flèche du Sud and got then for the following year a professional contract with the Belgian cycling team Vlaanderen- T Interim. In his second year, he won a stage of the Rhineland -Palatinate Tour in Landau. In 2006 he moved to the ProTeam Davitamon -Lotto. End of the 2007 season, he finished his career
