Pietro Generali (basketball)

Pietro Generali (* October 19, 1958 in Bologna ) is an Italian former professional basketball player who won the silver medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, with the national team. He also took part in the European Championship in 1981 with Italy.

Generali won with Sinudyne Bologna 1976 ( when he was in his first season came just two appearances ), 1979 and 1980, the Italian championship and in 1981 moved into the final of the European Cup. From 1983 to 1988 he was active for JuveCaserta Basket. He arrived with the team at Oscar Schmidt, 1986 and 1987, the final of the Italian Cup and won the 1988 Italian Cup. Subsequently joined the Generali to Benetton Treviso, where he was national champion once again in his last Erstligajahr 1992. He finished his career in 1994 at Padova Floor.
