Pietro Lana

Pietro Lana ( born October 10, 1888 in Milan, † December 6, 1950 ) was an Italian footballer.

Pietro Lana, called Fantaccino, was originally a member of AC Milan. In the spin-off of city rivals Inter Milan, he became one of the founding members of the club, where it was not long held him and Lana decided to return to Milan. The first Milan derby of the story, he scored the first goal for AC Milan. By 1914, he went for the club in the top division, the Prima Categoria, hunting for goals and came into the league to 51 inserts and 18 hits. A championship he could not win, however.

Lana was appointed for the first international match in the history of the Italian national team in the squad for the Squadra Azzurra. On May 15, 1910, the team met with the Équipe Tricolore. In the 13th minute Lana scored the first goal for the Azzurri. In the same game he hit two more times for Italy and was thus the first player in his country, who scored a hat-trick in the national team. Also for the international match against Hungary twelve days later he was on the court, but remained without a goal and had to deal with the Italians a 1:6 defeat in Budapest plug.
