Pike County (Pennsylvania)

Pike County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States. In the census in 2010, the County had 57 369 inhabitants and a population density of 40.5 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Milford.

History

Pike County was formed on March 26, 1814 from Wayne County and named after Zebulon Pike.

Geography

The county has an area of 1,468 square kilometers, of which 51 square kilometers are water surface.
