Pilar de la Horadada

Pilar de la Horadada is a city in the Spanish province of Alicante, in the Comunidad Valenciana. It lies in the extreme south of the province of Alicante province in the comarca of Vega Baja del Segura. Place name

Attractions

  • The parish church of Our Lady of Pilar. It is located in the city center and was built in 1981 to replace the earlier, ruined church. It is dedicated to the Virgin Pilar and in it are several valuable sculptures, particularly by the local artist D. José María Sánchez Lozano.
