Pinamungahan, Cebu

Pinamungahan (also: Pinamungajan ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Cebu. It has 57 997 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ).

The municipality is located opposite on the west coast of the island of Cebu in the Tanon Strait Negros Island, about 65 km west of Cebu City. Your neighboring municipalities are Toledo City in the north, Naga City and San Fernando in the east and in the south Aloguinsan.

Pinamungahan was founded in 1815 by the Spanish colonial authorities, the name means in Cebuano hard working farm workers.
