Pingdu

Pingdu (平度 市) is a county-level city in Shandong province in the east of the People's Republic of China, it belongs to the administrative territory of the prefecture-level city of Qingdao. Pingdu has an area of ​​3166 km ² and 1,357,400 inhabitants ( end of 2010).

The site of the ancient city of Jimo ( Jimo Yizhi Gucheng即墨 故城 遗址) and the Dongyueshi - site ( Dongyueshi Yizhi东岳 石 遗址) the Yueshi culture are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 and 2006 respectively.
