Pingyangmycin ( bleomycin A5) is an antibiotic from Streptomyces verticillus var pingyangensis n.sp., named after Pingyang county ( Zhejiang province, China ). Streptomycetes form a genus of Actinobacteria. Pingyangmycin is a single compound from the group of substances bleomycins and represents the spermidine amide of Bleomycinsäure

Pingyangmycin is used as a cytostatic agent in the chemotherapy.
