Pingyuan County, Guangdong

The circle Pingyuan (Chinese平远县) is a district of the prefecture-level city in the northeast of Meizhou of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 1,381 km ² and has about 250,000 inhabitants (2003 ). Its main town is the large village Dazhe (大 柘 镇).
