Pinhal Interior Sul Subregion

Pinhal Interior Sul is a statistical subregion of Portugal with an area of 1906 km ² and 39 805 inhabitants ( 2009). It is part of the Centro Region and divided into the districts of Castelo Branco and Santarém. In the north Pinhal Interior Norte and Cova da Beira limits, in the east Beira Interior Sul, in the south of Alto Alentejo and west Medio Tejo in the sub-region.

The subregion consists of the following five groups:

  • Sertã
  • Vila de Rei
