Pink Bubbles Go Ape is the fourth studio album by the band Helloween.
Genesis
Kai Hansen left after problems with the band's management and internal disputes by Helloween and Gamma Ray founded. For him, Roland Grapow got inside. The album was produced by Chris Tsangarides, who is known for works such as Painkiller by Judas Priest and Thunder And Lightning by Thin Lizzy.
Shortly after the album was completed, the band with the record company Noise International quarreled. Helloween signed a contract with EMI and the Iron Maiden Sanctuary Music Management. International Noise interpreted this as a breach of contract, as still outstanding album. An injunction preventing the release of the album in Germany. During the time of the process noise publish the best-of album, The Best, the Rest, the Rare. Pink Bubbles ... so far only available as an import. In 1992 appeared only in Germany.
Importance
The band started on this album to experiment and neglected the typical power metal elements. Along with the successor Chameleon it is called by fans and critics as a weak and atypical album. Helloween suffered serious declines in sales and concert-goers.
