Pink Cream 69
Pink Cream 69 is a German rock band from Karlsruhe, which was founded in 1987.
Band History
Pink Cream 69 was founded in 1987 by Andi Deris, Alfred Koffler and Kosta Zafiriou. Dennis Ward joined a short time later added. The band won the 1988 Metal Hammer newcomer competition in Ludwigsburg Rockfabrik and subsequently received a recording contract with CBS Records. Numerous tours increased awareness of the four and let them be a sought-after export in Central Europe and Japan.
Andi Deris 1994 left the " pinkies ", we would just sing with Helloween. He was replaced by the British David Readman. In 2003, the band was expanded to five musicians, as Uwe Reitenauer was come to the relief of the Focal dystonia by, the so-called musicians disease, restricted Alfred Koffler.
In March 2012, drummer and founding member Kosta Zafiriou left the band to focus now on his work in his own promo agency, and his new band Unisonic devote, at the Dennis Ward plays. His post was taken by his Drum technician Chris Schmidt.
As of 2006, supported Dennis Ward and Chris Schmidt the former Rainbow vocalist Joe Lynn Turner in the Sunstorm project.
In January 2013, after a long hiatus appeared the new studio album " Ceremonial ". Whether the band again so go on tour, was at the release of the album but still unclear. The band members but despite many side projects still very important, so live performances are not excluded.
