Early warning

The early warning or early warning system is an established concept in Austrian schools to inform parents and students during both semesters about the fact that the probability of a " Not Enough " ( the worst grade in the Austrian school system ) in testimony is high. However, this does not necessarily mean that the student is " Not Enough ", but only that a " Not Enough " due to poor grades threatened in the second half. Thus, any person who during the semester certificate has a " Enough ", a potential candidate for the early warning system, because it requires only a poor or with school work note to come to a non Enough. An early warning in the first semester does not apply to the second semester. All understandings according to § 19 SchUG purely for informational purposes, that is, even if they were not made, one can be 'insufficient' given in the school message or in testimony, if it is objectively justified properly.

The early warning is thereby handed over in the form of to be signed by the parent form to the student. Has the student reached the age of 18, he is entitled to sign the early warning itself.

A Blue letter should also point parents to an increased number of absenteeism.

Nachwarnung

You can also get a " Nachwarnung " when the services have become different from the Blue Letter worse.
