Pinta (disease)

Pinta is a skin disease in humans, which occurs in Mexico, Central and South America. It is caused by infection with Treponema pallidum carateum and belongs to the tropical treponematoses. In the course can be designated as leucoderma, depigmented or hypopigmented form of skin.
