Trivia

Fijas ' record-breaking jump was indeed recognized as a world record, but at the time of the jump does not match the actual length of 194 m, but 191 m. The FIS has then "frozen" the ski flying world record at 191 meters, because she believed so to prevent hazards associated with wide- hunting. It was not until some years later, the width has also been officially recognized by 194 m.
