The pepper -like ( Piperales ) are an order of plants in the informal group of Magnoliopsida. It contains five families.
Description
There are woody or herbaceous plants. The simple leaves often have glands that secrete essential oils. Leaf blades often have a hand-shaped ( palmate ) Vein.
The inflorescences are racemose ährig up.
The flowers of Piperales fall by the lack of perianther flower organs. This is forming the dust and carpels are unprotected, existing in most Eudikotyledonen Calyx and Corolla are absent in this order. The pollen grains are usually monosulcat.
