Pippi Longstocking is a movie with Inger Nilsson as Pippi Longstocking in 1969, a film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren for her children's book Pippi Longstocking. Directed by Olle Hellbom. The film was cut together and synchronized only for German-speaking audiences from the eponymous TV series. He started on 9 May 1969 in West German cinemas, while the complete series is only made in 1971. Action

The 9 -year-old Tommy and his Settergren one years younger sister Annika live in a small unnamed town in Sweden. In its immediate neighborhood is the "Villa Sundries ". The sisters must each morning on the school run past her and imagine how it would be if there a family would move with children. Naturally, word gets around that Pippi has many pieces of gold, and so did the tramp Blom and Thunder-Karlsson get wind. The two try several times to steal the gold case, but Pippi takes them each time before.

After many pranks and adventures Pippi's father Captain Longstocking returns to his daughter. Pippi would like to go with him and his ship " Hoppetosse " on a great journey. But that would mean that they would have to leave Tommy and Annika. And so she decides to stay in the villa Sundries.
