Pirated movie release types

A VHS Rip is an analog of reproduced VHS movie, the digitally recorded ( ribbed) was. The quality is not as good as that of a DVD - Rips.

Most are older movies to find as VHS - Rip, which does not exist on DVD.

Typical shortcomings in the quality VHS rips are depending on VHS material:

  • Low horizontal resolution,
  • Banding in the image,
  • Rare dropouts of picture and sound,
  • Poor sound quality.
