Pirching on grapes is a municipality with 1610 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the south- east of Styria in the district of Southeastern Styria. On January 1, 2015, is joined in the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Edelstauden and Frannach, the new community will continue the name Pirching am Traubenberg.

Geographical Location

Pirching am Traubenberg, approximately 18 km south-east of Graz and about 22 km west of the district capital field creek in East Styrian Hill Country.

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms was made with effect from 1 June 1984. Coat Description: split from silver and green by a reduced- oblique right bar in confused colors, from the above, a fertilized birch branch, down a leafy grape grows.
