Pirooz

Peroz or Pirooz (Persian پیروز Piruz [pi ː ru ː z] ) (also Feruuz etc.) was the name

• Of a Persian king from the House of the Sassanids, see Peroz I., and
• A Persian crown prince, son of the last Sassanid king Yazdegerd III. This Peroz fled after the death of his father to the court of the Tang Emperor, where he also died, see Peroz of Persia.
