Pitiscus (crater)

Pitiscus is an impact crater in the southern part of the Moon front, southwest of the large crater Janssen and northwest of Vlacq. The rim is hardly eroded the interior except for the two craters A and E largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by mathematician Bartholomew Pitiscus.
