Pivot Stickfigure Animator

Pivot Stickfigure Animator is a simple, image -by- image - Stick Figure Animator, which was programmed by Peter Bone with the Delphi development environment. The stick figures are moved by so-called pivot points, then a button is activated, which generates a new image. Then you move the stick figure again, creates a new image, move the stick figure, etc. This principle saves the user that always draw pictures new as it is common in EasyToon Flash or Adobe.

The easy to use dividend and free software is used among others in the classroom.

Features

Version 2.24, the last public release, it allows the user to create their own stick figure, they save in the STK format and publish them on the Internet. The stick figure itself can be zoomed in and out, are placed in a higher or lower level, be moved in all directions and also have different colors. Backgrounds in JPEG or BMP format can be inserted and used in the animation. Animations that were created with the program may in PIV format ( can be read only by the animator ) and GIF format are saved. Usually save the " Directors " the animations as GIF respect, as do people who do not own the program can watch the animations. Animations that have been saved as PIV can be loaded and processed in the animator again, which is not the case with the GIF images.

A newer version, version 3.1 beta was offered in the MSN group of the programmer, which, however, no longer exists now. Version 3.1 still contains some bugs, but they wanted to eliminate the author in the final version. However, it is expected to be no official new version of the animator. A pivot Fancommunity translated into German and the animator changed the design. New features have these versions, however.

In version 3.1 was designed to be able to save the animation not only as GIF and PIV, but also in the film format AVI. She also has a new option to include so-called sprites in the animation. That is, you can insert any BMP file, rotate, enlarge, move, and how to use the stick figure in the animation. The background options were changed. You can now invite not only one but several backgrounds and they can be changed through the menu during the movie. The default stick figure has also been improved, it now has another pivot point and a solid black head.

January 20, 2013 appeared after a long pause, version 4 beta on the recently created new website. With a visual user interface for the new updated animator has functions such as for example the transparency, connecting a plurality of figures, and the ability to fill circuits.
