The drug pizotifen was formerly used for the interval treatment of migraine and migraine prophylaxis. He also came against lack of appetite for the application.

Pizotifen was under the trade name ® and Mosegor Sandomigran ® on the market.

Pharmacological properties

The drug is an antagonist of serotonin receptors, and also has an antihistaminic effect.
