PKP class OKl27

The PKP series OKl27 was a tank locomotive for suburban services of the Polish State Railways PKP.

The OKl27 series was the first entirely designed and manufactured in Poland Series Locomotive PKP. In Cegielski Poznań (Posen) developed in the years 1928-1933 122 locomotives of this series. At the time of delivery, the OKl27 was the hardest 1C1 - tender locomotive in Europe.

Preserved in museums were following locomotives:

  • OKl27 -10: in Skierniewice as non-operational locomotive museum
  • OKl27 -26: as inoperable in the Warsaw Railway Museum Museum locomotive
  • OKl27 -27: Gdynia - Grabówek as a memorial locomotive
  • OKl27 -41: in the museum depot Chabówka
