PK/PD models

The PK / PD modeling (including PK -PD modeling, Eng. PK / PD modeling) includes in pharmacology methods of drug design, which the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for the calculation of the time course of action depending on the administration of a dose to use.

There are different calculation methods, which are divided into five classes:

  • Direct link PK / PD models
  • Indirect link PK / PD models
  • Indirect response PK / PD models
  • Cell Life Span models
  • Complex response models
