Placebo (Album)

Placebo is the self-titled debut album by the British band Placebo. The album was released on July 16, 1996 by Virgin Records and reached # 5 on the album charts in the UK. The third single from Nancy Boy came out to position 4 on the charts.

With their debut album Placebo trodden musical paths other than the then dominant Britpop movement of Oasis and Blur. The band on their album to classic rock with punk influences. Unlike their later albums Without You I'm Nothing and Black Market Music Placebo renounced gloomy melancholy ballads. Also, no electronic elements, such as listening to Sleeping with Ghosts.

10th Anniversary Edition (2006)

In 2006, a new edition to the 10-year anniversary with additional tracks ( demos and B -Sides ) and a DVD that contains the associated music videos and some live performances. The original hidden track is titled as HK Farewell and appears on the CD as a normal track but at all last.
