Plaka (Milos)

Plaka (Greek Πλάκα ( f sg ) ) is the capital of the Greek island of Milos. It is located inland, about four kilometers from the port of Adamas, at an altitude of 200 m above sea level. inst, and is formally the same name as the island. Plaka has about 749 inhabitants ( 2011) | Source = 2011 inhabitants

The place is probably the same place as the acropolis of the ancient capital of the island. There is a small museum and a church from the 10th century.
