Plan (drawing)

An architectural drawing (formerly also Bauriss ) is a technical drawing of the building design, the geometric and / or static information for the construction shows, it shows all spatial dimensions and materials, not the timing of the execution.

Often one speaks simply of drawing, if you really meant the plan, so the sheet of paper or file, in addition to one or more drawings also has a header and a single possible layouts.

The construction and design of a construction drawing is subject to a general consensus in the construction industry. In addition to fixed standards is the plan formats, for example, the use of different line types.

Content

The representation is in one of the size or complexity of the object adapted scale. A building is shown in floor plans, elevations, sections and details. In order to characterize different materials, components or cut surfaces, hatches and any colors are used. The components shown are quantified by the dimension.

The concrete plan content and its diagrammatic representation depends on the planning phase of the project. In Germany it is called in accordance with the phases of the HOAI of design, approval planning and implementation planning.

In the header (also called " flag " called ) next to the name of the construction project also drawing number, material specifications, scale, creation and approval information, information on the history and other necessary information is entered.

Production and reproduction

Be Done drawings by architects, engineers and draftsmen. Until the last decade of the 20th century was drawn with pencil and technical pen on tracing paper. This was stretched to a drawing board. This was followed by a very quick change to the now available computer technology, suitable CAD programs and plotters. Technical drawings could now also be derived from virtual 3D models.

Drawings were up to this time by pauses (see blueprint ) reproduced and carefully keep the original of the technical drawing, the required number of copies of a drawing will be directly plotted or reproduced with a photocopier. However, it is now also possible to dispense with the disclosure of a technical drawing on paper, as the computerization increases further in the construction industry.

Standardize

General standards of technical drawing:

  • DIN 5 part 1,2,10 ( projection methods ); DIN 201 hatching; Representation of cut surfaces; DIN 406 degree entry in drawings
  • DIN 1356 architectural drawings, ISO 4157 Construction drawings, ISO 2594 architectural drawings; Projection methods; ISO 7518 Construction drawings; Simplified representation of demolition and rebuilding
  • DIN 919 ( Woodworking )
  • DIN 1986 ( drainage drawings)
