Planum temporale

As planum temporale ( from Latin planum " level, surface ", from the Latin tempus " temple " ), the surface of the temporal lobe ( temporal lobe ), after partial removal of the parietal lobe ( parietal lobe ), respectively. It corresponds to the floor of the lateral sulcus.
