Playaz Circle
Playaz Circle is an American hip hop duo that was founded in Georgia in College Park, 1997. It consists of Tity Boi and Dolla Boy. They are part of Disturbing Tha Peace collective and the record label of the same name and are considered representative of the Down South and Gangsta Rap.
Career
Tity Boi and Dolla Boy befriended already in their high school years. Then they founded in 1997 the group Playaz Circle and began to publish mixtapes. During this time, Ludacris moved into her neighborhood and began working with them. During this, however, soon became one of the most successful rap artist, the career of Playaz Circle came to a standstill because Dolla Boy sentenced to a jail term and Tity Boi was shot. However, Ludacris offered both a place both in his Disturbing Tha Peace collective, as well as the eponymous label at. They accepted the offer and took the song Play Pen To The State Pen on which appeared on the first album by Disturbing Tha Peace Golden Grain. However, those responsible for the label, which had partnered with Def Jam, no music of the two wanted to publish. Therefore, they continued to work on albums and mixtapes, which they pass on themselves directly sold on the street and tried their music to DJs in Atlanta, with the aim that this will be played in clubs. They had finally with the single Duffle Bag Boy, whose chorus Lil Wayne took over success. They meant that the label is now the green light for the release of their debut album Supply & Demand was that was already completed.
