Players Tour Championship 2012/2013 – Event 4

The Kay Suzanne Memorial Trophy 2012 was the tenth overall event of the Players Tour Championship 2012/13. The snooker tournament was held from 11 to 14 November 2012 in the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester.

The event was held under the banner of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where the issue of breast cancer should be made aware of it and also donations for the organization Breast Cancer Care are advertised. Suzanne Kay is the name of the deceased from breast cancer sister of Paul Mount, owner of the Gloucester Academy. Because of this background, the dress code was changed and all the players were at the three main days in symbolic pink polo or Long sleeve. The tournament was therefore also known as The Pink PTC.

In August it was announced that the cooperation between the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester and the professional association is not continued in the future.

Ronnie O'Sullivan, Defender of the previous year, renounced in the course of several months break from professional snooker on his participation. In a re- edition of the World Cup final of 2011 finally won against John Higgins Judd Trump.
