Players Tour Championship 2012/2013
The Players Tour Championship 2012/13 was a series of snooker tournaments, which were held in the 2012/13 snooker season for the third time. Compared to the other world ranking tournaments of the snooker main tour there were fewer points for the Snooker world rankings to pick. It was a Pro- Am tournament series, played along with the Main Tour professionals and amateurs. However, qualified the eight most successful participants in the UK / Europe prize money rankings and four of Asia prize money ranking, who had qualified not already on the snooker world rankings or a 2- year tour ticket for the following season, directly for the 2013/14 snooker season.
The top 25 players of the 10 held in the UK and Europe tournaments qualified for the final tournament ( " Grand Finals" ), where it was played at a much higher prize money. Compared to the previous three tournaments were added in China, but fell two in England away. The winners of the Asian PTC qualified directly for the Grand Final. In addition, four places were awarded on the main tour for the following season and the Grand Final with a separate prize money ranking of the three Chinese tournaments.
