PlayStation Mobile

PlayStation Mobile is a program of the electronics group Sony, under which users can load games on certified smartphones and tablets. This must run the Android operating system.

History

Sony Computer Entertainment announced the platform PlayStation Mobile in the fall of 2011 and began with the test -wise operation in October 2011. In April 2012, followed by a public beta phase for which interested parties could register and then were allowed after explicit release by Sony on the program.

On October 3, 2012 PlayStation was officially launched Mobile. The platform represents a specialized App Store, which can be installed and run only on certified devices running Android. A large part of the Xperia series smartphones were certified for PlayStation Mobile.
