Geography
Pleasant Prairie is located in the extreme southeast Wisconsin on the western shore of Lake Michigan. In the south of the municipal area is bounded by the border with Illinois.

History
The first settlement was in 1833 by Horace Woodbridge instead. In 1842, the Town of Pleasant Prairie appropriate the townships in most U.S. states administrative unit was formed. Gradually, parts of the village were assigned to the neighboring city of Kenosha. 1989, the remaining portion of the Town was inkorporporiert as Village of Pleasant Prairie.
