Geography

Plentywood is in the far northwest Montana near the Canadian border. The metropolitan area has a size of 3 km ².

Climate

History

The first European-American Company in Plentywood was in 1900, two years after a post office in the city was established. 1912 was followed by the official establishment and Plentywood was connected to the railway network of the Great Northern Railway. The place was named after the nearby Plentywood Creek.
